Use this page to post any current or upcoming adventures in your neighborhood. Seeing a movie, going bowling, or taking a bike ride? Invite everyone!

Here is how it works: You notice there is a very inexpensive cooking class at a local grocery store that is featuring how to shop for and create easy, healthy and inexpensive family meals.  Just post the details here! Maybe on top of the great cooking tips, you’ll meet some people from the Living Well with Epilepsy Community in your neighborhood.

  1. The Blossoms of Light, at the Denver Botanic Gardens are out for all to see! It’s running through January 1st and open daily from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. Tickets are $9.50 for adults, $7:50 for members, and $6:50 for children. I plan on going sometime this week. Great time to get together with friends and explore the gardens draped in lights! There’s also the Trail of Lights at Chatfield Gardens, Prices and times are the same, and info for both can be found at http://www.botanicgardens.org/.

  2. Hello Friends! Anyone doing something active and fun this week? Despite the freezing weather I still love to get outside for some Colorado adventures. Keep us all posted!

  3. We have a stress reduction class starting on January 24th called Relaxing in the Moment. This is an 8-week course using mindfulness based stress reduction techniques. The cost will be approx $15/session. Who is interested? The class requires an RSVP and space is limited.
    Location TBD.

    • This is a wonderful course to go through! I learned a lot from it, and found that it helped teach me how to deal with stress. Anyone considering it, just do it! It’s well worth the time and cost!
